Persönliches ProfilThe German-Chinese Society of Medicine organizes meetings to further the exchange of views on ethical issues related to the advances and application of biological and medical sciences. Mr. Ole Doering of the Asian Studies Institute in Hamburg has long-term experiences in bringing together German and Chinese ethicists. Beginning with the conference to be held in Xi’an in September 2002, the Sino-German working group holds its meetings jointly with the bi-annual conferences of the German Chinese-Society of Medicine in China.

Dr. Gunia, experienced in integrating selected aspects of TCM into modern clinical medicine, organizes meetings of this working group.
